Join me in my efforts to support MSPCC!
On April 19th I will be running the Boston Marathon & I really, really need your help! After all I am in my 80th year. MY first association with the MSPCC first ocurred nearly 80 years ago. I think that alone is pretty remarkable.
It took me almost a lifetime to realize what really helping hands are all about and it is about helping kids like me and my brothers and sisters. There are many more today that need our help and this is my way of trying to help. As an adult I have been a small part of this organization for the last 20 years as a way of saying thank you for the help when we were in need so many years ago.
Life has been good for all of my expanded family which today numbers into the hundreds. The progeny of my Mother and Father from way back in the early thirties. So Now it is payback time and that is what we are doing, I do the running but the funds come from all of my family and friends. Isn't that what MSPCC is all about "friends Helping Friends" Thank you all so much for all of your donations and support. It will go a long way to help these kids become responsible young men and women in our new society.
